한편 이집트의 호스니 무바라크 대통령은 하마스가 가자지구를 장악한 것을 쿠데타라고 말했습니다.
무바라크 대통령은 하마스의 상쟁세력인 파타당 지도자이자 팔레스타인 자치정부의 수반인 마흐무드 압바스 씨에 대한 이집트 정부의 지지를 재확인했습니다.
무바라크 대통령은 오는 25일 이집트의 홍해 휴양지 샴 엘-시이크에서 열리는 정상회의를 앞두고 이같이 발언했습니다.
이집트 주최로 열리는 이번 정상회의에는 압바스 팔레스타인 자치수반과 에후드 올메르트 이스라엘 총리, 압둘라 요르단 왕이 참석합니다.

Palestinian officials say Israeli forces detained Saleh Aruri in a village north of Ramallah. He is described as the founder of the Hamas military wing.
In another development, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak called Hamas' takeover of the Gaza Strip as a "coup." He reassured Fatah leader and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of Egypt's support.
Mr. Mubarak's remarks came ahead of Monday's summit in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheik, where he will host Mr. Abbas, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Jordan's King Abdullah.
The summit is expected to discuss support for Mr. Abbas' more moderate government.
