Indian officials say at least 45 people have been killed in torrential rains and flooding across southern Andhra Pradesh state.
The state's disaster management commissioner today (Saturday) said authorities have set up 95 relief camps to accommodate more than 55-thousand displaced people in the rain-ravaged areas.
Officials say the worst affected areas were the Kurnool and Guntur districts, which took the full force of the tropical storm.
Weather forecasters predict the rain will continue across the area for at least another day.
