이란의 마누쉐르 모타키 외무장관은 이란과 미국 당국자들이 오는 28일 만나 이라크 안보와 안정에 관해 논의할 것이라고 말했습니다.
모타키 장관은 '이슬람회의기구' 회의에 참석하기 위해 방문한 파키스탄 수도 이슬라마바드에서 17일 그같이 밝혔습니다.
모타키 장관은 대사급 회담이 될 것으로 예상되는 미국과 이란 간 회담에서 이라크 문제 만이 의제에 오를 것이라고 말했습니다. 모타키 장관은 두 나라 회담이 이라크에서 열릴 것이라고 말했습니다.
미국 또한 이란과의 회담이 이라크 문제에 국한될 것이라고 밝혔습니다.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki says Iranian and American officials are to meet May 28 to discuss Iraq's security and stability.
Mottaki spoke today (Thursday) in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, where he is attending a meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
He said "nothing but Iraq" is on the agenda for Iran-US talks, which are expected to be held at the ambassador level. He said the meeting will take place in Iraq.
The United States has also said the talks will be confined to the Iraqi situation.
Iran and the U.S. do not have diplomatic relations. But the Bush administration has said since 2005 that it would hold talks, limited to Iraq, through the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad.
