압바스 수반의 이같은 발언에 몇시간 전 하마스 소속 무장괴한들이 가자지구와 이스라엘을 연결하는 통로인 카르니 검문소 인근에서 압바스 수반의 보안병력을 공격해 보안요원 적어도 8명이 숨지고 몇명이 부상했습니다.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called for the immediate implementation of the government's security plan to halt continuing fighting in the Gaza Strip between his Fatah faction and Hamas.
The plan calls for rival security forces to operate under a joint command.
Mr. Abbas urged the factions to "fully safeguard calm" so that Palestinians can focus on reform and development, and reduce poverty.
Hours before Mr. Abbas' speech, Hamas gunmen attacked members of the Presidential Guard Force near the Karni crossing on the Gaza-Israel border, killing at least eight guards and wounding several others.
Separately, at least one Hamas militant was killed as rival factions battled on the streets of Gaza, despite a renewed pledge to end all forms of violence.
Last week, the two sides accepted an Egyptian-mediated truce.
