The protesters have packed a square in the western city of Izmir, waving Turkish flags and holding up portraits of the country's secularist founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Authorities deployed thousands of police officers in the wake of a bombing in an Izmir market Saturday that killed one person and injured 14 others.
It is not clear who was responsible for the blast, which shattered windows in homes and cars.
Secularists have accused the ruling Islamist-rooted A.K. Party of attempting to undermine Turkey's secular order.
Huge demonstrations have been held over the past month in Ankara, Istanbul and Manisa in support of secularism.
