영국의 ‘파이낸셜 타임스’ 신문은 사르코지 당선자가 대통령에 당선된 지난 6일, 토니 블레어 영국 총리와 가진 전화통화에서 도미니크 드 빌팽 총리 후임으로 피용 의원을 지명할 것이라고 말했다고 보도했습니다.
이 신문은 사회.교육장관을 지낸 피용 의원은 사르코지 당선자의 측근들 가운데 가장 온건성향의 인물로 프랑스의 좌파로부터 거부감이 가장 적은 인물이라고 전했습니다. 사르코지 당선자는 오는 17일 취임할 예정이며 현재 지중해 섬나라 몰타에서 가족과 함께 휴식을 취하면서 내각 구성안을 검토하고 있는 것으로 알려졌습니다.

French president-elect Nicolas Sarkozy reportedly plans to name his closest political advisor as the next French prime minister.
London's "Financial Times" newspaper (FT) reports that Mr. Sarkozy told British Prime Minister Tony Blair in a phone conversation Sunday that he will appoint Francois Fillon to succeed current Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin.
The FT says Fillon is one of Mr. Sarkozy's most moderate allies and is viewed by France's Socialists as the least objectionable member of his team.
Mr. Sarkozy headed for Malta Monday a day after defeating Socialist candidate Segolene Royal in a runoff presidential election 53 to 47 percent.
He has gone into isolation for what aides call a post-campaign rest with his family and to draw up plans for his first 100 days in office.
