한국 정부 관리들은 북한이 ‘2.13합의’에 따라 유엔 사찰단의 영변 원자로 방문을 대비하고 있을 가능성이 있다고 말했습니다.
한국 국가정보원은 26일 국회 정보 위원회에 제출한 보고서에서 북한은 영변원자로로 이르는 도로를 보수하고 핵 시설 부근에 구조물을 건설했다고 밝혔습니다.
국가정보원은 이러한 특이 동향은 북한이 사찰단의 방문에 대비하고 있을 가능성을 시사하는 것이라고 말했습니다.
북한은 영변원자로의 폐쇄를 시작하고 유엔 사찰단의 재입국을 허용하기로한 ‘2.13 합의’ 초기조치 이행 마감시한인 4월 14일을 지키지 않았습니다. 북한은 방코델타아시아은행의 북한 자금 2천5백만달러를 회수할 때까지 2.13 합의의 초기조치 를 이행하지 않겠다고 말하고 있습니다.

South Korean officials say North Korea may be preparing for a visit of U.N. nuclear inspectors to its main nuclear reactor, as is required in a six-nation nuclear disarmament deal.
South Korea's spy agency issued a report to the parliament's intelligence committee today (Thursday) saying North Korea has repaired a road to the Yongbyon reactor and built a structure near the facility.
The agency says the increased activity could indicate North Korea is preparing for visitors.
North Korea missed an April 14th deadline to begin closing the reactor and readmit U.N. inspectors.
Pyongyang has said it will take action on the matter after getting back 25 million dollars of its funds in a Macau bank. Macau authorities froze the funds in 2005 after Washington blacklisted the bank for helping North Korea launder illicit money.
