터키 당국은 18일 발생한 말라티아 마을 한 기독교 출판사 공격사건과 관련해 지금까지 10명을 체포했다고 밝혔습니다. 이번 공격으로 1명의 독일 시민을 포함해 출판사 직원 3명이 피살됐습니다.
관계자들은 19일 추가로 구금된 5명의 용의자가 이번 사건과 관련돼 심문을 받게 될 것이라고 말했습니다. 경찰은 이들 5명 가운데 1명은 도주하려던 중 체포됐다고 말했습니다.
이 출판사는 성경을 발행한다는 이유로 위협을 받았습니다. 터키에서 기독교 인구는 소수로 지난해에는 흑해의 트라브존시에서 카톨릭 신부 1명이 피살된 바 있습니다.

Turkish authorities say they have detained 10 people in connection with Wednesday's attack on a Christian publishing house that killed three people, including a German citizen.
Officials say five more suspects were taken into custody today (Thursday) for questioning in relation to the attack on the Zirve publishing house in the city of Malatya.
The publisher had received threats for printing Bibles.
Earlier, police said five people were detained, including one person who was injured while trying to escape.
The attack is the latest on Turkey's small Christian minority. Last year, a Catholic priest was shot and killed in the Black Sea city of Trabzon.
