후진타오 중국 국가주석과 블라디미르 푸틴 러시아 대통령은 후 주석의 이번 방문중에 40억달러 상당의 무역, 에너지협정에 서명했습니다. 후진타오 주석은 또 모스크바에서 열리는 대규모 중국 무역박람회 개막식에 참석했습니다.
중국 관영 '차이나 데일리'신문은 두 자도자가 오는 2009년에 화성을 공동탐사하기로 합의했다고 보도했습니다.

Chinese President Hu Jintao has met industry chiefs and political leaders in Russia's oil-rich Tatarstan region, as he completes the last leg of a visit aimed at boosting bilateral trade and energy deals.
Mr. Hu attended a trade exhibit today (Wednesday), and toured an oil refinery being built in the mainly-Muslim south-central republic.
Mr. Hu and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin signed more than four billion dollars worth of trade and energy agreements during the three-day visit that ends today. The Chinese leader also launched a huge Chinese trade fair in Moscow.
Chinese state media say the two leaders also agreed on a joint space mission to Mars in 2009.
The China Daily (newspaper) says plans call for a Russian rocket to transport a Chinese satellite and Russian exploration vehicle to survey Mars and its largest moon Phobos.
