제5차 남북한 이산가족 화상상봉 행사가 27일 시작됐습니다. 한국측 최고령자인 102세의 최병옥씨는 북한측 아들인 지호씨와 화상을 통해 감격적인 상봉을 했습니다.
이번 행사에는 남북한에서 총 120 가족, 865명이 사흘간 화상으로 전쟁통에 헤어진 가족을 반세기 만에 다시 만납니다. 남북한은 또 직접 얼굴을 맞대는 이산가족 상봉행사를 오는 5월 북한 금강산에서 재개할 계획입니다.
남북한은 북핵 2.13 합의가 지난 달 체결된 이후 이번 달 회담과 경제협력교류를 재개했습니다. 한국은 또 지난 해 7월 북한의 미사일 시험 발사 이후 중단됐던 대북한 비료지원을 27일 재개했습니다.

Hundreds of North and South Koreans held emotional family reunions through video links today (Tuesday) as part of renewed reconciliation efforts between the two countries.
South Korea's oldest participant, 102-year-old Choe Byeong-ok, met his North Korean son for the first time in decades. Millions of families were separated by the division of the Korean peninsula in 1945.
Three days of video reunions are being held for 865 people from 120 families.
The two Koreas plan to resume face-to-face reunions in May (9-14) at North Korea's Mount Kumgang.
North and South Korea resumed talks and exchanges this month after Pyongyang agreed in February to go forward with a nuclear deal.
Also today, South Korea restarted shipments of fertilizer aid to the North. Those shipments were suspended last July in response to Pyongyang's ballistic missile tests.
