관리들은 반군이 15일 새벽 외진 경찰 기지에 총격을 가하고 가솔린 폭탄과 수류탄을 던졌다고 말했습니다. 반군은 무기류를 훔치고 경찰기지 주변에 지뢰를 설치한 뒤 도주했습니다.
사상자들 가운데는 반군을 저지하기 위해 기용된 현지 부족주민들이 포함돼 있었습니다.

Indian authorities say Maoist rebels have stormed a police outpost in the central state of Chhattisgarh, killing at least 50 security personnel and injuring 12 others.
Officials say the guerrillas fired guns and hurled gasoline bombs and hand grenades at the remote police post before dawn today (Thursday).
The guerrillas fled after stealing weapons and planting landmines around the post.
The victims include local tribespeople recruited to help anti-rebel operations in the dense jungle area.
The chief minister of Chhattisgarh state (, Raman Singh,) said police are searching the forest for the rebels. He says initial reports indicate more than 200 guerrillas were involved in the attack, which is one of the worst blamed on the Maoist group in recent years.
