연합군은 성명을 통해 아프간군과 연합군 병력이 물라 마흐무드 (Mullah Mahmood)를 6일 아프간 동부 낭가하르주 잘랄라바드 인근의 한 복합단지에 대한 기습공격 도중 생포했다고 전했습니다.
마흐무드는 당시 몸 전체를 가리고 눈 부위만 망사로 되어있는 아프간 여성들의 의상인 부르카로 위장해 있었습니다.
연합군 관리들은 마흐무드는 새로운 알-카에다 테러단체로 알려진 토라 보라 전선(Tora Bora Front)의 폭탄제조 전문가와 물류 책임자로 일해 왔다고 주장했습니다.

U.S.-led coalition forces in eastern Afghanistan say they have captured an alleged bomb-making expert with links to al-Qaida.
A coalition statement says Afghan and coalition troops detained Mullah Mahmood Tuesday in a raid on a compound near the eastern city of Jalalabad (in Nangarhar province).
The U.S.-led coalition says Mahmood was caught while disguised in a burqa (a head-to-toe veil worn by women).
Coalition officials accused the man of being an explosives expert and logistics officer for the Tora Bora Front.
