유엔안보리 상임이사국과 독일이 이란의 핵 개발에 대한 추가 제재를 위해서 초안을 작성는 데 합의했다고, 영국 정부 관리가 밝혔습니다.
이 관리는 하지만 26일 런던에서 열린 회담에 이들 국가 대표들이 협상을 통한 해결도 계속 추진하기로 했다고 말했습니다. 이날 회담에는 미국, 영국, 프랑스, 러시아, 중국, 독일 대표들이 참석했습니다.
미국은 이란의 핵 개발과 관련해서 추가 제재와 압박이 필요하다는 입장입니다.
미국 국무부 션 매코맥 대변인은 이들 6개국 대표들이 29일 전화 회담을 갖고, 새 제재안의 주요 내용에 대해 합의할 것으로 기대한다고 말했습니다.
이란은 앞서 유엔 안보리가 제시했던 우라늄농축중단 최종기한인 21일을 무시했습니다. 이에 따라 지난해 12월 내려진 유엔안보리 제재보다 강화된 추가 조치가 예상됩니다.

British officials say six world powers have agreed to start drafting a new United Nations Security Council resolution on Iran's nuclear program.
The officials say representatives of the six powers who met in London today (Monday) remain committed to a negotiated solution. Today's talks involved representatives from Germany and the Security Council's five permanent members - the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China.
The United States says it is seeking "incremental" steps to tighten sanctions and further pressure Iran.
A State Department spokesman (Sean McCormack) said officials of the six powers will hold a telephone conference on Thursday and hope to hammer out the elements of a new resolution.
Iran ignored a Security Council deadline last week (February 21st) to suspend uranium enrichment or face new sanctions, on top of those imposed in December.
