최근 일본에서 정치 스캔달이 연달아 발생하고 경제정책에 대한 국민의 불만이 커지는 가운데 아베 신조 총리 내각에 대한 국민의 지지율이 크게 떨어졌습니다.
일본의 최대 신문인 요미우리 신문이 실시한 여론조사 결과에 따르면 아베 총리 내각에 대한 지지율은 지난 12월에 비해 7.5 퍼센트가 떨어진 48 퍼센트로 나타났습니다.
아사히 신문이 실시한 별도의 여론조사에서도 아베 총리에 대한 지지율은 지난달 47 퍼센트에서 이달에는 39 퍼센트로 크게 떨어졌습니다.
두 신문은 이번 여론 조사의 오차범위를 밝히지 않았습니다.
여론조사에 응한 참가자들은 대부분 아베 총리의 정책과 최근 각료들이나 고위 자민당 정치인들이 연루된 회계부정 사건을 아베 총리가 다루는 방식에 불만을 갖고있는 것으로 나타났습니다.

Newspaper polls in Japan show that support for Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's government has fallen sharply due to a string of political scandals and public discontent with economic policies.
A survey conducted by Japan's largest newspaper, the Yomiuri Shimbun, found the support for Abe's government has slipped to 48 percent, down seven-and-a-half points from December.
A separate poll by the Asahi newspaper found Mr. Abe's ratings slide to 39 percent from 47 percent last month. Neither of the surveys gave a margin of error.
Most of respondent said they are unhappy with Mr. Abe's policies and the way he is handling a series of accounting irregularities involving cabinet ministers and senior party politicians.
