이란의 마흐무드 아흐마디네자드 대통령은 이란은 곧 핵연료를 산업적인 규모로 생산 할 것이라고 말했습니다. 아흐마디네자드 대통령은 3일 한 지방도시에서 이같이 말하고 그러나 구체적인 날짜는 밝히지 않았습니다.
그는 이란 정부는 이란의 “핵야망을 빼앗으려는 깡패 국가들 (bullying powers)로부터 위협받지 않을 것”이라고 말했습니다.
유엔 안전보장이사회는 지난달 논란이 되고 있는 이란의 우라늄 농축계획과 관련해 경제 제재안을 채택했습니다.
이후 아흐마디네자드 대통령은 유엔의 제재 조치는 법적효력이 없다 (invalid)고 주장하면서 핵계획을 계속 추진해 나갈 것이라고 다짐했습니다.

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says his country will produce nuclear fuel on an industrial scale soon.
Speaking in a provincial city (Gatvand) today, Mr. Ahmadinejad did not specify when.
He said Tehran will not be intimidated by what he called bullying powers who want to deprive Iran of its nuclear ambitions.
In December, the UN Security Council passed economic sanctions against Iran for its controversial nuclear enrichment program.
Since then, Mr. Ahmadinejad has called the UN sanctions "invalid," insisting that Iran will continue its program. Iran's top nuclear negotiator (Ali Larijani) said Tehran would begin working on installing three-thousand uranium-enriching centrifuges at a plant in Natanz.
The U.S. and its Western allies believe Iran is developing nuclear technology for weapons, a charge Tehran denies.
