무장세력인 이슬람 지하드와 팔레스타인 집권 하마스는 모두 26일 공격 배후에 그들 단체가 있었다고 주장했습니다.
지난 25일에 합의된 휴전에 따라 이스라엘은 가자지구에서 자국군을 철수하고 팔레스타인 과격 단체들은 이스라엘에 대한 모든 로켓 공격을 중단하도록 되어 있습니다.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has ordered the Israeli army to show restraint following Palestinian rocket attacks today (Sunday) to give a new ceasefire a chance to take hold.
Mr. Olmert says ceasefires do not materialize immediately. He says even though the rocket attacks were a violation, he ordered the Israeli army not to respond.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas deployed Palestinian security forces along the Gaza-Israel border to prevent militants from firing more rockets.
The armed wings of Islamic Jihad and the ruling Islamist movement, Hamas, both say they were behind today's (Sunday's) attacks.
Under an accord reached Saturday, Israel withdrew its forces from Gaza and Palestinian militant groups were to stop all rocket fire.
