필리핀 당국은 올초 발생한 글로리아 아로요 대통령에 대한 구데타 음모와 관련해 전직 군 간부들과 경찰 관리등 45명을 기소했습니다.
라울 곤잘레스 법무장관은 13일 기소 사실을 공식 발표하고 기소 대상에는 다닐로 림 전 육군 사령관과 라나토 미란다 전 해군 제독, 그리고 전직 대사와 대학 교수등이 포함돼 있다고 기자들에게 말했습니다.
전직 육군 사령관이자 국회의원인 그레고리오 호나산씨 역시 검찰에 기소됐습니다. 호나산은 그동안 쿠데타 음모와 연루돼 왔으며 현재 행방을 감춘 상태입니다.
곤잘레스 장관은 지난 2월에 발생한 쿠데타 음모를 수사하는데 여러달이 걸렸다며 앞으로 수사가 더 진행될 예정이라고 말했습니다.

Philippine authorities have charged 45 people -- including former military and police officials -- in connection with an alleged plot to overthrow President Gloria Arroyo earlier this year.
Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales told reporters today (Friday) those facing charges include former army commander General Danilo Lim, former Marine General Ranato Miranda, a former ambassador and a college professor.
Former army commander and Senator Gregorio Honasan was also charged. Honasan has been implicated in past coup plots and is currently in hiding.
Secretary Gonzales says the investigation into the February coup plot took several months. He says the government sought to build solid cases to ensure the charges would stand up in court.
He says the investigation is continuing and more prominent figures could be charged, including two senators and a Catholic bishop.
The crime of rebellion carries a life sentence in the Philippines.
