이란의 핵 협상 대표인 알리 라리자니씨는 핵 활동을 중단하라는 국제사회의 요구에도 불구하고 핵 연료 생산은 이란의 전략적 목표라고 말했습니다.
라리자니씨는 27일 국영 라디오 방송을 통해 이란에게서 그 권리를 앗아가려는 어떤 행동도 핵 목표 추진을 막지 못할 것이라고 말했습니다.
유엔 안전보장이사회는 이란에 대해 8월31일까지 우라늄 농축을 중단하도록 촉구하면서 그렇지 않을 경우 제재에 직면할 수 있다고 밝혔습니다.
농축 우라늄은 핵원자로 연료와 핵폭탄 제조를 위한 물질을 생산할 수 있습니다.
한편 레자 바게리 외무부 부장관이 우라늄 농축 중단은 절대 받아들일 수 없는 적색라인이라며 중단 요구를 거부했다고 이란 관영통신이 보도했습니다.

Iran's top nuclear negotiator says producing nuclear fuel is a strategic goal for Tehran, despite international demands for Iran to suspend nuclear activities.
Ali Larijani was quoted on state radio today (Sunday) as saying any action taken to deprive Iran of its rights will not deter the country from pursuing its nuclear goals.
The U.N. Security Council has called on Iran to stop enriching uranium by August 31st or face possible sanctions. Enriched uranium can produce both nuclear reactor fuel and material for atomic bombs.
Iran's official news agency (IRNA) quotes Deputy Foreign Minister Reza Bagheri as rejecting a suspension of uranium enrichment, saying it is a "red line" that Tehran will never accept.
