미국 국내외적으로 노조결성을 허용하지 않는 대형 할인 소매업 체인인 월-마트사의 중국내 사업장에서 두 번째 노조가 결성됐습니다.
중국 관영 신화통신은 중국 남부 센첸시 소재 월-마트 본사에서 4일, 중국 정부 노동부 관계관들이 장려하는 가운데 42명의 종업원들이 노조를 결성했다고 보도했습니다. 월-마트의 중국내 사업장 두 번째 노조의 조우 량 위원장은 종업원과 경영자간의 융화를 조성하고 회사의 발전을 촉진하는 것이 노조의 목표라고 말했습니다.
중국 정부가 후원하는 전중국노동연맹은 중국에 진출해 있는 월-마트사의 60개 사업장 모두에서 노조가 결성되기를 기대한다고 말하고 있습니다.

Chinese state media say local employees of U.S. retailer Wal-Mart have set up a second trade union with the encouragement of government labor officials.
The Xinhua news agency says 42 workers formed a union Friday at Wal-Mart's Chinese headquarters in the southern city of Shenzhen.
The new chairman of the union (Zhou Liang) says its goal will be to create harmony between employees and management and to promote development of the company.
Chinese employees of Wal-Mart created their first trade union a week ago (July 29th) in the southeastern city of Quanzhou, in Fujian province.
The state-run All-China Federation of Trade Unions says it hopes to set up similar unions in all 60 Wal-Mart stores in China.
Xinhua says the giant U.S. retailer had long resisted the formation of trade unions in its China branches.
