26일에 실시된 한국의 재보궐선거에서 한나라당과 민주당 등 야당들이 4개 선거구 모두를 석권했습니다.
한나라당은 서울 송파갑, 경기 부천소사, 경남마산 갑등 3개 선거구에서 승리했고, 서울 성북을구에서는 민주당의 조순형 후보가 당선됐습니다.
집권 여당인 열린우리당은 단 한곳에서도 당선자를 내지 못했습니다. 그러나 야당의 재보궐선거 석권이 총의석 299석의 국회에서 다수당인 열린우리당의 세력판도에는 변화를 주지 못했습니다.
한국의 유권자들은 경기 침체가 계속되면서 노무현 대통령 정부에 대해 점차 강한 불만을 표출하고 있습니다.
열린우리당은 지난 5월의 지방선거에서도 야당에게 참패한 바 있습니다.

South Korean opposition parties have swept parliamentary elections for four vacant seats, in another setback for President Roh Moo-hyun's ruling party.
The main opposition Grand National Party won three seats in Wednesday's vote and the smaller Millennium Democratic Party won the other.
The wins were not enough to change the ruling Uri Party's majority in the 299-seat parliament. Voters are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with Mr. Roh and his party, primarily for its response to South Korea's sluggish economy.
The Uri party suffered a major defeat in local elections in May when it won only one of 16 key races for big-city mayors and provincial governors.
