당국자들은 헬만드의 주도인 라슈카르 가 인근에서 23일 벌어진 작전 중에 파키스탄 전투원 2명을 포함해 17명의 무장분자들이 생포됐다고 말했습니다.

A provincial official in Afghanistan says 19 Taleban members have been killed in the latest fighting between security forces and militants in southern Helmand province.
The official says 17 militants, including two Pakistani fighters, were captured during today's (Sunday) operation near the provincial capital, Lashkar Gah.
Also Sunday, in eastern Paktia province bordering Pakistan, two coalition troops and one Afghan soldier were wounded when a roadside bomb hit a joint patrol.
Late Saturday, in central Ghazni province, Taleban insurgents attacked an Afghan police post, killing three policemen.
The U.S.-led coalition is investigating Saturday's two suicide bombings in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar. The attacks killed eight people, including two coalition soldiers from Canada, and wounded 35 others.
