인도는 지난 주 근 200명의 사망자를 냈던 뭄바이 열차 폭탄 폭발 사건 수사를 돕겠다는 파키스탄 측의 제의를 일축했습니다. 파키스탄의 페르베즈 무샤라프 대통령은 지난 20일 그 같이 제의했습니다.

India has dismissed an offer from Pakistan to help investigate last week's Mumbai train bomb blasts, which killed nearly 200 people.
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf made the offer Thursday. He said the people of Pakistan are with the people of Mumbai (previously known as Bombay) who are mourning the bombing deaths.
An Indian foreign ministry spokesman (Navtej Sarna) said Pakistan should instead clamp down on militants operating from its soil.
He repeated India's demand that Pakistan hand over Syed Salahuddin, the chief of the militant group Hizbul Mujahedin, which is fighting for the merger of Indian Kashmir with Pakistan.
The spokesman said Pakistan should also hand over India's underworld leader, Dawood Ibrahim, wanted in connection with deadly bombings in Mumbai in 1993. Pakistan denies Ibrahim's presence in the country.
