알리 라리자니 대표는 유럽 연합의 하비에르 솔라나 외교정책 대표와 만나, 이란이 우라늄 농축을 중단하는 댓가로 국제사회가 제시한 포괄적 보상책에 대해 논의하고 난 후 그같이 말했습니다.
솔라나 대표는 라리자니 대표와의 회담에 대해 미국을 비롯한 유엔 안전보장 이사회 5개 상임이사국과 독일 등 대 이란 제안을 지지하고 있는 나라의 외무장관들과 논의할 것이라고 말했습니다.
이들은 12일 프랑스 파리에서 만나, 이란과의 대화를 계속 추구할 것인지, 아니면 유엔 안보리를 통해 이란에 대한 보복적 행동을 모색할 것인지에 대해 논의할 예정입니다.

Iran's top nuclear negotiator says talks on his country's nuclear program will be a long process.
Ali Larijani spoke after his latest talks with European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana about an offer of international incentives for Iran to suspend sensitive nuclear work.
Solana says he will discuss today's (Tuesday's) meeting with the foreign ministers of the countries behind the offer -- the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany. Those officials meet Wednesday in Paris to discuss whether to continue pursuing talks with Iran or seek punitive action by the United Nations Security Council.
The United States says Iran has had more than enough time to consider the package. But Iran says the offer contains ambiguities and that it will not respond until August.
