네팔 하원은 2002년 이래 처음으로 28일에 개원되어 코이랄라 총리 지명자에 대한 인준동의안을 처리할 예정입니다.

Nepal's Maoist rebels have declared a three-month unilateral ceasefire after incoming Prime Minister G.P.Koirala assured them parliament will set elections for an assembly to draft a new constitution.
A statement by rebel leader Prachanda says Maoist fighters will refrain from attacking government targets, adding they declared the truce to show their support for the Nepalese people's wishes for peace.
Today (Thursday), King Gyanendra formally named Mr. Koirala the country's prime minister, as recommended by the seven-party alliance after three weeks of protests that forced the monarch to restore democracy. He is expected to be confirmed when parliament convenes Friday for the first time since 2002.
