야당 지도자들은 가넨드라 국왕이 먼저 국민의 민주주의 권리를 돌려주고 시위자들에 대한 폭력 탄압을 중단해야만 한다고 말하고 있습니다.

Nepal's Maoist rebel leader has rejected King Gyanendra's latest offer for dialogue and has called on political parties to continue their fight to establish democracy in the kingdom.
Maoist leader Prachanda (EDS: ONE NAME) said by repeating his call for elections within a year, the king and royal army have made it clear that they want to continue their rule over the Nepalese people.
Political parties opposed to the monarchy have also rejected the king's call for dialogue, which came after more than a week of pro-democracy protests in the Himalayan state.
Opposition leaders say the king must first restore democratic rights and stop violent repression of protesters.
At least four people have been killed and hundreds wounded in clashes with security forces during the past week of protest demonstrations across the country. More than 1,000 activists have been jailed.
