요르단강 서안에서 ‘하마스’가 이끄는 새 팔레스타인 정부에 항의하는 무장 과격분자들이 팔레스타인 자치정부 본부를 습격했습니다.
팔레스타인 당국은 테러단체 ‘알 아크사 순교단’ 소속 대원 약 20명이13일, 라말라의 팔레스타인 자치정부 사무실에 강제로 진입했다고 밝혔습니다.
‘알 아크사 순교단’은, 마흐무드 아바스 팔레스타인 대통령이 이끌고있는 파타당의 과격분파입니다. 파타당은 수십년동안 팔레스타인 정치를 지배해왔으나, 석달전 총 선거에서 ‘하마스’에 패한 바 있습니다.
파타당과 새 하마스 정부는 각료인선과 팔레스타인 자치정부가 통제하는 재정상의 혜택문제와 관련해 서로 반목하고 있습니다.

Militant gunmen in the West Bank have stormed the headquarters of the Palestinian Cabinet, in a protest aimed at the territory's new Hamas-led government.
Palestinian authorities say about 20 militants from the group Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades forced their way into the Cabinet offices today (Thursday) in Ramallah, the administrative headquarters of the Palestinian Authority.
Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades is a militant faction of Fatah, the political party led by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Fatah dominated Palestinian politics for decades but was defeated by Hamas in parliamentary elections three months ago. Fatah members and the new Hamas government have been feuding over jobs and financial benefits controlled by the Palestinian Authority.
In another Hamas-Fatah confrontation earlier today, gunmen burst into Palestinian Transport Ministry, located near the Cabinet offices, and shut down operations.
