이란은 대형 군함과 잠수함을 파괴할 수 있는 고속 해저 미사일을 성공적으로 시험 발사했다고 밝혔습니다.
이란 군 당국자들은 시험발사된 해저 미사일을 일반 어뢰 속도보다 약 4배가 빠른 시속 360킬로미터의 속력으로 타격을 가할 수 있다고 말하고 있습니다.
이 미사일은 러시아제 해저 미사일과 같은 속도의 능력을 갖추고 있으나 러시아제 VA-111 쉬크발 형을 기반으로 개발된 것인지의 여부는 확실치 않습니다.
이란은 걸프만과 아라비아해에서 대규모 군사 훈련이 실시된 지 사흘째인 2일 이 미사일을 시험발사했다고 밝혔습니다.

Iran says it has successfully test-fired a high-speed underwater missile capable of destroying large warships and submarines.
Iranian military authorities say the missile can reach speeds of 360 kilometers an hour, about four times the speed of a torpedo.
The missile has approximately the same speed capabilities as a Russian-made underwater projectile. However, it is not clear whether the Iranian missile is based on the Russian (VA-111) Shkval model.
Iran says it tested the missile on Sunday during the third day of large-scale military maneuvers in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Sea.
Friday, Iran said it test-fired an airborne missile that can evade radar and hit several targets simultaneously with multiple warheads. No other details were disclosed.
