이 북한 지도자는, 미국이 25일에 시작된 남한과의 합동 군사 훈련을 준비하고 있을 때부터 미국에 대한 비난의 목소리를 내왔습니다.
조선 중앙 통신은, 김 국방 위원장이 “지상의 어떠한 세력이나 무기도 북한군을 조금도 겁주거나 괴멸시킬 수없다”고 말한 것으로 인용 보도했습니다.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il says his country is united in its "burning hatred" of the United States.
North Korea's official news agency (K.C.N.A.) says Mr. Kim made the remark as he inspected his military forces this past week. The North Korean leader said his people are determined to "take revenge" on America, which he condemned as an "imperialist aggressor."
Mr. Kim launched his verbal attack as the U.S. prepared for joint military exercises with South Korea, which began Saturday.
Pyongyang has angrily denounced the exercises, calling them a rehearsal for an invasion of the North. The news agency quotes Mr. Kim as saying "no force or weapon on earth can ever frighten or destroy" the North Korean military.
