이라크 경찰은 26일 바쿠바 시 부근에서 참수된 시신 30구를 발견했다고 말했습니다.
당국은 이들 희생자의 신원과 살해된 이유를 밝혀내기 위해 노력하고 있습니다. 이들 시신은 이라크에서 지난 달 시아파 사원에 대한 폭탄 공격이 발생한 뒤를 이어 종파간 폭력 사태가 발생한 이후 가장 최근에 발견된 것입니다.
한편 26일 저항 새력의 공격으로 이라크인 적어도 4명이 살해됐습니다. 바스라에서는 학교로 걸어가던 10대 청소년 한명이 도로 폭탄 공격으로 목숨을 잃었으며 바그다드 에서는 폭탄 공격으로 여성 한명이 숨지고 바쿠바 부근에서는 무장 괴한들이 경찰관 한명을 포함해 두명을 살해했습니다.
나지프에 있는 시아파 과격 성직자 모크타다 알-사다르 자택 부근에는 박격포탄이 떨어져 알-사다르의 경호원 두 명과 아이 한명이 부상을 입었습니다.
이 같은 폭력 사태는 이라크 시아파와 수니파 아랍, 쿠르드족 정치 지도자들이 미국의 압력 증대에도 불구하고 새로운 정부 구성 합의에 실패한 가운데 발생했습니다.

Iraqi police say they found 30 decapitated bodies near the city of Baquba today (Sunday).
Authorities are working to identify the victims and determine why they were killed. The discovery is the latest since sectarian violence flared following the bombing of a Shi'ite shrine last month.
At least four other Iraqis were killed in attacks today (Sunday). A roadside bomb killed a teenage boy as he walked to school in Basra. A bomb in Baghdad killed a woman, and gunmen killed two people, including a police officer near Baquba.
Mortar shells landed near the home in Najaf of radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, wounding two of his guards and a child.
The violence comes as Iraq's Shi'ite, Sunni Arab and Kurdish leaders failed again to agree on a government, despite increasing U.S. pressure.
