팔레스타인의 집권 과격단체, 하마스는 아랍국가들에게 팔레스타인이에 대한 월간 원조금액을 1억7천만 달러로 증액하도록 요청하고 있습니다.
하마스의 정치 지도자 칼레드 메샤알은 26일, 쿠웨이트를 방문하는 가운데 다음주 수단에서 아랍정상회의가 열리기에 앞서 아랍국가 정부들이 약속한 원조금액의 세 배 증액해 줄 것을 요청했습니다.
메샤알은 자신이 요청하는 원조액은 팔레스타인 정부 공무원들의 2월부터 밀린 급여를 지급하는데 사용될 것이라고 말했습니다.

Hamas is asking Arab countries to increase their financial support to the Palestinians to 170 million dollars a month.
The political chief of the Palestinian militant group, Khaled Meshaal, made the appeal in Kuwait today (Sunday) before this week's Arab summit in Sudan. The request is more than triple the amount previously pledged by Arab governments.
Meshaal says the bulk of the money will be used to pay the salaries of Palestinian Authority workers, many of whom have not yet received their February wages.
