이번 데모는, 탁신 총리의 친척들이 지난 1월 말 가문이 소유하고 있던 근 20억 달라 규모의 통신 회사를 면세 주식 판매로 매각한 한 이래 탁신 총리에 대해 벌어지고있는 일련의 시위중 최신의 것입니다.

Thousands of opposition protesters have rallied in the Thai capital against Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, and say they will not leave Bangkok until the prime minister steps down.
Spearheaded by the People's Alliance for Democracy, the protests began late Sunday near the royal palace in the central city. A government spokesman said five thousand police patrolled the event, with thousands more on standby.
The demonstrations are the latest in a string of protests against Mr. Thaksin since late January, when his relatives sold the family's nearly two-billion dollar telecom business in a tax-free stock sale.
