유럽연합은 미국과 함께 하마스가 이스라엘을 인정하지 않고 폭력을 포기하지 않으면 팔레스타인에 대한 원조를 멈출 것이라고 경고하고 있습니다.

The Islamic militant group Hamas says Iran has agreed to provide the Palestinian Authority with funding to make up for any cuts in foreign aid.
Iran reportedly promised about 250-million dollars.
Meanwhile, Israel has expressed regret over a European Union decision to provide 143-million dollars in emergency aid to the Palestinians, who face a financial crisis as Hamas works to form a new government.
The EU approved the funding Monday, saying it will be used to pay the Palestinian government's energy bills and social services. It did not indicate if it would continue aid after a Hamas-led government is formed.
International envoy James Wolfensohn (the former head of the World Bank) has warned that the Palestinian Authority could collapse in two weeks, largely because Israel suspended monthly cash transfers of Palestinian tax revenues.
The U.S. and Europe have also threatened to cut off aid if Hamas does not recognize Israel and renounce violence.
