러시아와 이란은 이란의 핵발전용 우라늄 농축 합작사업에 관한 원칙에 합의했다고 이란의 고위 핵협상 대표가 말했습니다.
이란의 골람레자 아그하자데흐 수석 핵협상 대표는 26일, 이란, 부쉐르에서 러시아 대표들과의 회담을 마친 뒤 이같이 말하고 양국의 회담은 3월6일의 국제원자력기구 회의가 열리기 전까지 계속될 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
그러나 이란 수석대표와 세르게이 키리옌코 러시아 수석대표는 양측의 합의 내용을 구체적으로 밝히지는 않고 있습니다.
러시아-이란 핵관계관 회의에서는 이란의 우라늄을 러시아 영토내에서 농축하고 핵물질이 핵무기 제조에 사용되지 않도록 보장하기 위한 러시아의 제안이 논의되고 있습니다.
미국과 유럽연합은 러시아의 제안을 지지하고 있습니다. 국제원자력기구 이사국들은 최근 특별회의를 열어 이란의 핵활동 문제를 유엔 안전보장 이사회에 회부하기로 가결한 바 있습니다. 유엔 안보리는 이란에 대한 제재조치를 시행할 권한을 갖고 있습니다.

Iran's nuclear chief says Moscow and Tehran have agreed in principle on a joint venture to enrich uranium for use in Iran.
After talks with Russian officials today (Sunday) in Bushehr, Iran, Gholamreza Aghazadeh told reporters that talks on the issue will continue ahead of a March sixth meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Neither the Iranian nuclear official nor visiting Russian atomic energy head Sergei Kiriyenko gave details of the agreement.
Moscow has proposed a plan involving Iran's uranium being enriched in Russia to ensure none of the material is used for nuclear weapons.
The plan has the backing of the United States and European Union, which accuse Iran of secretly trying to develop nuclear weapons.
Iran, which recently resumed the enrichment of uranium, insists its nuclear intentions are peaceful.
Earlier this month, the I.A.E.A. voted to report Iran's nuclear activities to the U.N. Security Council, which has the authority to impose sanctions against Iran.
