세르게이 키리옌코 러시아 원자력청장은 이란 관리들과의 사흘에 걸친 회의를 위해 24일 테헤란에 도착했습니다. 키리옌코 청장은 이란이 핵 물질을 무기 계획에 전용하지 않는다는 점을 보장하기 위해 러시아에서 우라늄을 농축하도록 한 러시아의 제안을 받아들이도록 촉구할 것으로 보입니다.
중국도 24일 리귀정 외교부 부부장을 이란에 파견해 러시아와는 별도로 사흘 간 회담할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.

Russian and Chinese officials are due to meet with officials in Iran to try to persuade them to accept a proposal over Tehran's controversial nuclear program that could avert the threat of U.N. sanctions.
The head of Russia's atomic energy agency, Sergei Kiriyenko, arrived in Tehran today (Friday) for three days of talks with Iranian officials. He is expected to push Iranian officials to accept a plan for Moscow to carry out uranium enrichment in Russia to ensure Iran does not divert material for a weapons program.
China said it was sending Vice Foreign Minister Lu Guozeng to Tehran today (Friday) for three days of talks separate from those involving Russia.
Iran insists its nuclear intentions are peaceful, and that it has the right to carry out its own enrichment program.
Earlier this month, the International Atomic Energy Agency reported Iran to the U.N. Security Council and called on its government to suspend all enrichment-related activities.
