브라운 전 청장은 또한 자신의 재난 확대 관련 보고가 워싱턴의 고위 행정 책임자들에게 24시간이나 늦게 전달된 것은 어처구니 없는 일이라고 말했습니다.

The former director of the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency says the Bush administration knew about flooding in New Orleans earlier than it has acknowledged.
Michael Brown told a Senate hearing on Hurricane Katrina that it is "baloney" (nonsense) that there was a 24-hour delay in informing top administration officials in Washington of the extent of the disaster.
But Homeland Security officials took issue with Brown, arguing he failed to keep them properly informed.
