한국은 지난 달 영화산업과 관련된 상영일수 제한 규정을 축소함으로써 미국과의 협상에 마지막 걸림돌을 제거했습니다.

The South Korean government has decided to go ahead with free trade talks with the United States, despite protests from local farmers.
South Korean officials say the decision was made late today (Thursday) and will be announced formally in Washington soon.
South Korean farmers opposed to establishing a free trade agreement with the U.S. broke up a public hearing in Seoul on the issue today (Thursday).
The hearing, organized by South Korea's Foreign Ministry, was delayed and then abandoned after the angry farmers staged a protest and unfurled banners opposing free trade talks.
Last month, South Korea cleared one of the final hurdles to beginning trade talks with the U.S. by scaling back a quota system on its film industry.
South Korea is the seventh-largest trading partner of the United States.
