fficials in Afghanistan say suspected Taleban insurgents have kidnapped an Indian and three Afghans in the southern part of the country.
Authorities say the four were pulled from their car late Saturday in southwestern Nimroz province.
Afghan officials say the Indian national had been working on a road construction project funded by the Indian government. Two other victims were security guards, and the third was a driver.
The abductions were the latest in a string of kidnappings in southern Afghanistan, and coincide with a rise in violence.
