모나코의 앨버트 황태자가 그의 선왕 레이니어공의 사망으로 시작된 왕위계승 과정을 마치고 19일 즉위식을 가졌습니다.
이날 모나코의 베르나르드 베르시 대주교의 집전으로 진행된 즉위식에서 앨버트 국왕은 국가수반으로 즉위선서를 했습니다. 선왕 레이니어공과 헐리우드의 여배우였던 어머니 그레이스 켈리가 결혼식을 올렸던 성 니콜라스 대성당에서 거행된 이날 즉위식에는 앨버트 국왕의 두 자매들과 수백명의 고위 관리들과 내빈들이 참석했습니다.
선왕 레이니어 국왕은 지난 4월에 81세로 타계했습니다. 앨버트 황태자는 3개월간의 애도기간이 끝난 후 지난 7월에 왕좌를 이어받았습니다. 앨버트 국왕의 가문인 그리말디스 가는 700여년 동안 모나코를 통치하고 있습니다.

Prince Albert of Monaco has been enthroned, completing the succession process that began with the death of his father, Prince Rainier. Prince Albert was sworn in as the head of state at a ceremony (Saturday) led by Monsignor Bernard Barsi, the archbishop of Monaco.
The two sisters of the Prince as well as hundreds of dignitaries and guests attended the service at the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas where Prince Rainier married Prince Albert's mother, the late Hollywood actress, Grace Kelly. Prince Rainier died in April at the age of 81.
At his death, he was Europe's longest ruling monarch. Prince Albert assumed the throne in July after a three month mourning period. The prince's family -- the Grimaldis -- has ruled Monaco for more than 700 years.
