프랑스의 수도 파리는 시위대들이 도심지역에 대한 공격을 계획하고 있을지 모른다는 보도 이후 취해진 임시 공공집회 금지 조처 속에 철통같은 경계가 이뤄지고 있습니다.
이번 조처는 당국이 소요사태를 야기 또는 부추길 수 있다고 판단하는 모든 공공 모임을 금지하고 있습니다.
파리 경찰은 시위대들에게 파리에 모이도록 촉구하는 인터넷 서신 등 수많은 문건을 파악한 뒤 이같은 조처를 취했습니다.
한편 폭동 16일째인 11일 프랑스 전역에서는 5백대의 차량이 불에 탔다고 관리들은 밝혔습니다. 당국은 또 11일 저녁 한 회교성당에 두 개의 사제 폭탄이 떨어졌다고 말했습니다.

Security is tight in Paris (today / Saturday) as new temporary restrictions on some public gatherings take effect following reports rioters may be planning attacks on downtown areas.
The restrictions ban all public meetings authorities believe could provoke or encourage disorder. The ban is in effect until early Sunday (0700 UTC).
Paris police issued the order Friday after intercepting a number of Internet and text messages urging rioters to gather in the capital.
Meanwhile, officials say 500 cars were torched overnight across France in the 16th night of unrest. Authorities also say someone on a scooter threw two homemade fire bombs at a mosque in the southern part of the country (Carpentras) late Friday, but did not cause any injuries. President Jacques Chirac condemned the attack.
Police say disenfranchised Muslim youths from the country's North African minority population are the main perpetrators of the wave of violence.
