서울에서 알렉산더 버시바우 주한 미국대사는 미국 정부는 북한과의 관계 정상화를 준비하고 있다고 말하고, 그러나 북한이 신뢰 구축을 위한 조치를 취해야만 한다고 덧붙였습니다.

The United States, South Korea and Japan have proposed a three-point road map to implement an agreement to dismantle North Korea's nuclear program.
At the six-party talks in Beijing today (Wednesday), negotiators from the three countries offered a plan that focuses on getting North Korea to end its nuclear program in exchange for economic and energy aid, and a normalization of relations. No details of the new road map were immediately available.
Speaking before the opening of the talks, chief U.S. negotiator Christopher Hill said North Korea must drop its nuclear weapons program before there can be any discussion of giving the country a (light-water) nuclear power reactor.
In Seoul, U.S. Ambassador to South Korea Alexander Vershbow said Washington is prepared to normalize relations with Pyongyang, but that the North Koreans must do their part to build confidence.
