원자바오 중국 총리는 늘어나는 중국의 에너지 수요에 부응하기 위해 중국과 러시아는 두 나라를 잇는 석유 송유관 건설 협상을 서둘러야 한다고 말했습니다.
원 총리는 베이징을 방문 중인 미하일 프라드코프 러시아 총리와 만난 뒤 이같이 말했으며 프라드코프 총리는 이에 대해 두 나라가 이 문제를 적극 협의하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.
중국은 경제호황으로 석유 수입이 크게 늘어났으며 현재 러시아 정부에 대해 시베리아 유전과 중국 동북부 도시 다칭을 연결하는 송유관을 건설하도록 설득하고 있습니다.

Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao says China and Russia should speed up negotiations on building an oil pipeline to link the two countries and to help Beijing meet its energy needs.Mr. Wen made the comments Wednesday in Beijing, following talks with his visiting Russian counterpart Mikhail Fradkov -- who said the two countries are working actively on the issue.
China's oil imports have surged with its economic boom. Beijing is trying to persuade Moscow to build a pipeline that would run from Siberian oil fields to the northeastern Chinese city of Daqing.
Russia also is looking at a separate proposal to build a pipeline from the oil fields to the Siberian port city of Nadhoka, allowing the Russians to ship oil to China, Japan and South Korea.
Mr. Fradkov said his country plans to deliver some eight million tons of oil to China by rail this year.
