고이즈미 준이치로 총리가 이끄는 일본 집권 자민당이 헌법의 평화조항 개정 최종안을 승인했습니다.
자민당이 28일 승인한 최종 개정안은 헌법 9조의 전쟁불가 조항을 삭제하고 국제안보 문제에서 군이 더 큰 역할을 하도록 했습니다.
자민당 의원들은 다음달 말에 이 최종안을 당에 공식 제출할 예정입니다.
고이즈미 총리와 자민당은 국제분쟁과 관련해 무력사용을 금지하고, 자위 목적의 군대만을 허용하고 있는 헌법 9조의 개정을 추진해 왔습니다.

Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's ruling party has approved its final draft of a proposed revision of the pacifist clause of Japan's constitution.
The final draft approved (Friday) by the Liberal Democratic Party cuts the "no war" clause from Article Nine and gives the military a greater role in international security.
Ruling lawmakers will formally present the final draft at an LDP meeting in late November.
Mr. Koizumi and his party have been pushing for a revision of Article Nine, which currently bars the use of military force in settling international disputes and allows Japan a military force for self defense only.
The constitution was drafted by U.S. occupation forces at the end of World War Two and has been unchanged since 1947.
