후 주석은 28일 평양에 도착했으며, 중국 국가주석이 북한을 방문한 것은 흔치 않은 일입니다.
중국 관영 차이나 데일리는 김정일 위원장이 28일 열린 후 주석과의 회담에서 북한은 약속대로 베이징에서 열리는 다음번 6자회담에 참가할 것이라고 말했다고 보도했습니다.
북한은 지난달 열린 6자회담에서 핵 계획을 포기하기로 합의했지만 이후 핵 포기에 앞서 민간 에너지 생산을 위한 경수로가 우선 제공돼야 한다고 주장하고 있습니다.

Chinese President Hu Jintao has begun a second day of talks in Pyongyang, following a pledge by North Korean leader Kim Jong-il that his country will participate in the next round of talks about its nuclear programs.
Mr. Hu arrived Friday in Pyongyang for a rare visit to the North Korean capital.
The official China Daily says that during talks there Friday, North Korea's leader told Mr. Hu that Pyongyang "will honor its commitments" and attend the upcoming round of six-party talks next month in Beijing.
During last month's six-nation talks, North Korea agreed to abandon its nuclear weapons program. But Pyongyang later said it first wants to be provided with light-water nuclear reactors for civilian energy production.
