이스라엘은 불도저들을 동원해 유대인 정착민들이 떠난 가자지구 일부 정착촌들에 대한 철거 작업에 들어갔습니다.
텔레비전 방송은 21일 오후 가자 지구 북부에서 이스라엘 중장비가 주택들의 붉은 타일 지붕을 뜯어내는 장면을 방송했습니다.
가자지구 남부의 구쉬 카디프 정착촌에서는200대의 불도저 기사들이 이스라엘이 팔레스타인 영토인 가자 지구를 38년간 점령하면서 세운 가옥들에 대한 철거 지시를 기다리면서 대기하고 있는 것으로 전해졌습니다.
앞서 카티프 정착촌에서는 정착민들이 버스에 탑승하기 전에 군인들과 함께 기도를 올린 후에 평화롭게 정착촌을 떠났습니다. 아트스모나 정착촌에서는 수십명의 십대 청소년들이 철수 반대 구호를 외치며 군인들을 맞았습니다. 그러나 21일 철수 조치된 아트스모나를 비롯한 다른 2개 정착촌에서 폭력 사태는 발생하지 않았습니다.
한편, 요르단강 서안 북부에서 이번 주에 철수될 예정인 2개의 소규모 정착촌 소개 조치에 저항할 것을 다짐하는 수천명의 시위대 일부과 이스라엘 보안군이 작은 충돌을 빚기도 했습니다.

Israeli bulldozers have begun destroying houses in several Gaza Strip settlements after the eviction of their Jewish inhabitants.
Television footage showed Israeli heavy equipment ripping red-tiled roofs from houses in northern Gaza this (Sunday) afternoon.
To the south, 200 bulldozers were reported idling in the emptied Gush Katif settlement bloc as drivers awaited orders to flatten houses built during Israel's 38-year occupation of the Palestinian territory.
Earlier in the day, bulldozers smashed through burning barricades to clear the Katif settlement. Settlers later prayed alongside soldiers before boarding buses and leaving quietly.
At the settlement of Atsmona, dozens of teenagers greeted troops with anti-pullout chants. However, no violence was reported there or in two other settlements (Slav and Elei SInai) evacuated today.
The last of 21 Gaza settlements -- Netzarim -- is set for evacuation Monday.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli security forces skirmished with some of the thousands of protesters vowing to resist the evacuation of two small settlements set to begin later this week.
