영국 당국은 폭탄 테러범들을 두둔하면서 지난주 영국을 떠나 레바논으로 향했던 회교 근본주의 성직자 오마르 바크리 모하메드의 영국 재입국을 금지했습니다.
챨스 클라크 내무 장관은 12일 바크리의 존재가 공익에 도움이 되지 않는다며 그의 영국 거주 허가가 취소 되었다고 밝혔습니다.
현재 레바논에 억류돼 있는 바크리는 폭탄 공격을 계획하는 회교도에 관해 알고 있다 해도 영국경찰에 제보하지 않을 것이라고 말해 영국인들 사이에 분노를 촉발한 뒤, 영국을 떠났었습니다.
이와는 별도로 요르단 정부는 테러 혐의로 수배를 받고 있는 회교 성직자 아부 카타다의 요르단 송환을 원한다고 말했습니다. 영국 경찰은 카타다가 알 카에다테러조직의 요원 모집책이라고 말하고 있습니다.

Authorities in London barred re-entry to Britain today (Friday) for Islamic fundamentalist cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed, who spoke out in defense of terrorist bombers before he left (Britain) for Lebanon last week.
The Home Office (interior ministry) says Mr. Bakri's permission to live in Britain has been revoked because "his presence is not conducive to the public good."
The cleric, currently in custody in Lebanon left England shortly after he sparked public outrage by saying he would refuse to inform British police if he knew of any Muslims planning bomb attacks.
