A published report here in Washington (today / Monday) says the U.S. military has developed war plans to counter possible terrorist attacks inside the United States.
The Washington Post says military officials have anticipated how they would react to at least 15 potential crises, including the possibility of multiple simultaneous attacks. Quoting military officers who drafted the contingency plans, the newspaper says troops could handle assignments ranging from crowd control to full disaster management, depending on the severity of an attack.
