중국 동북부 외딴 마을의 한 초등학교를 강타한 홍수로 인한 사망자 수가 91명으로 증가했습니다.
중국 관영 신화 통신은 12일, 샤오란 마을을 강타한 지난 10일의 참사로 학생 87명과 마을 주민 4명이 목숨을 잃었다고 보도했습니다.
신화 통신은 마을에 홍수가 닥쳤을 당시 창안 초등학교에는 6살에서 14살 사이의 어린이 350여 명과 31명의 교사가 있었다고 전했습니다.
중국 북부와 남부 지역에서는 모두, 폭우가 계속되는 가운데 더 큰 홍수 피해가 날 것으로 예상됩니다.

The death toll from a flash flood that slammed into a primary school in a remote northeastern town in China has climbed to 91.
The official Xinhua news agency said today (Sunday) that 87 students and four villagers died in the disaster that hit the town of Shalan (near Ning'an city in Heilongjiang province) Friday.
Xinhua said more than 350 children, ages six to 14, and 31 teachers were at the Changan Primary School when the flood hit the village.
More flooding is likely, with heavy rains predicted for both northern and southern China.
