Jason: I hope he returns home soon.

Mike: Me too, but he has always been the black sheep of the family and has been causing troubles ever since he was in middle school.

Mike가 Jason에게 “Did you hear about Frank’s younger brother, Brian? 라고 하자 Jason이 “No I haven’t. Mike가 “He ran away from home last weekend. So they are contacting every one of Brian’s friends to find out if they know where Brian may be. 이어 Jason이 “I hope he returns home soon. 라고 하자 Mike 가 “Me too, but he has always been the black sheep of the family and has been causing troubles ever since he was in middle school.

Black sheep (of the family) 입니다. The phrase black sheep is used to describe a disreputable or an odd member of a group. Especially within a family, if someone is the black sheep, it means that a single member of the family is considered to be the disreputable or the bad one by the rest of the family. 여기서 나온 말이black sheep (of the family) 인데요. “Aaron always causes trouble in the household so he is called the black sheep of the family.” Here is another example. “My parents consider me to be the black sheep of the family because both my sister and my brother are doctors and I am a singer.” Now you know what black sheep of the family means right? Now let’s listen to the conversation for the last time.
