시브산카 메논 인도 외무장관은 앞으로 양국이 외무 및 내무장관 회담을 갖고, 양국간 무역과 안보 협력에 관해 논의할 것이라고 말했습니다.
한편 프라찬다 총리는 지난 14일부터 인도를 방문 중이며, 네팔의 발전을 위해 양국 관계 진전과 인도의 대 네팔 투자 확대가 매우 중요하다고 강조했습니다.*****
Leaders of neighboring countries India and Nepal have pledged to strengthen ties during talks in New Delhi.
Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, known as Prachanda, and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today (Tuesday) agreed to review a 1950 treaty that governs India's relations with Nepal. The two leaders met during Prachanda's first visit to India as prime minister.
India's Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon says the foreign and home secretaries of the two countries will meet to review Nepal's security concerns and trade between the two countries.
During his visit to India that began Sunday, Prachanda has called the relationship between the two countries vital and requested increased investment in Nepal to help the landlocked Himalayan country.
