아나톨리 노고비트신 러시아 군 대변인은 오늘 러시아군이 그루지야에서 철수하기 시작했다고 밝힌 바 있습니다.
그러나 외신기자들과 그루지야 관리들은 러시아 병력이 여전히 남오세티아 자치지구 외곽 주요 지점을 점거하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.
오늘 미국 당국 역시 러시아가 지난 15일 남오세티아에 여러대의 미사일 발사대를 배치했다고 지적했습니다.
드미트리 메드베데프 러시아 대통령은 러시아군이 오늘부터 그루지야에서 철수할 계획이라고 거듭 약속한 바 있습니다.

reporters and other witnesses in Georgia say there are no signs that Russian
soldiers are preparing to withdraw.
A Russian military spokesman (General Anatoly Nogovitsyn) said today(Monday) that his country's troops have begun leaving the Caucasus nation.
But the journalists, as well as Georgian officials, say Russian troops remain
in key positions beyond the breakaway region of South Ossetia.
Also today, U.S. officials are quoted as saying Russia moved several missile
launchers into South Ossetia on Friday.
Russia sent in tanks and troops nearly two weeks ago, saying it must protect
its citizens, after Georgia sent its forces into the breakaway region.
Russian President Dmitri Medvedev today (in Kursk) repeated the pledge,
calling for what he termed a shattering blow to anyone threatening Russian
citizens. Moscow in the past decade has issued its passports to many South
Ossetian residents.
